Christmas Lights.

Christmas lights
Shining bright
The stars talk of you.
I send you
a kiss from here
With carols that I coo.

Are you too; staring out
Are the stars talking to you?
Did you get my gift from here?
Is it a white Christmas there too?

All around me people dance
Happy couples dance to air
My hands are tight
I feel your hands
Wintry, cold
and frosty bare.

You’re my navy boy
Our pride; my joy
But you’re so far away..
Christmas feels so damn bleak
And drab;
to my dismay.

2 months left
For you to come
It’ll be a new year by then.
Jake will be
6 years old,
Marissa will be of ten.

They miss you so
I tell them stories
Of you coming today
But they know better
And tell me to
Stay calm and to pray.

Come back Kris
It’s been days too long
For you to stay away
We’ll wish Santa brought you home today
Without any delay.

The Christmas lights were clearly bright
But now they seem so low.
As the flakes pour over our crimson hair
I think you of a little more.

Little something I wrote yesterday. Today was a fun day with my cousins coming over and hanging out with Rumil and Roshni :)

A little Christmas weheartit coming ur way;

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ONE AND ALL. STAY FESTIVE AND WEAR SOMETHING SPARKLY FOR ME :)
